This season was the most successful for the club in recent years, following  several years struggling to put twelve  players on to the park, at that point completing a season without having to cancel games was deemed a success.

The player pool for the season was not much changed from last year Dickie Mackenzie (ex Lovat) joined us, Gus Fraser returned to play in goals and Allan Sumner also returned in mid season to play . Roddy Maclennan left to return to play for his home club Beauly.

The reaching of the final of the Scottish Junior Cup (Sutherland Cup) for the first time in thirty seven years was a massive boost for the club and it just showed what can be achieved with a bit more commitment. The cup run in which we played teams from higher divisions tested the players fully, the games against Inveraray were remarkable in that in both games, Boleskine looked down and out, with little time left to retrieve the situation, but grit and determination saw them through .   In the Final against Newtonmore we started slowly and were soon two goals down, who knows what might have happened if the goal Boleskine scored at this point was allowed to stand.  Newtonmore secured their third goal soon afterwards, the match was now over as a contest and our dreams of emulating the hero's of the 64 & 66 teams faded away.

To win the Div 3 league, ensuring promotion to the div 2 was by no means a easy task  It was a tight league for most of the season with Strathglass, Inverness and Lochaber our main challengers . A run of two consecutive defeats just prior to the Sutherland Final left  us requiring to beat Inverness and Strathglass  and take at least a point from Lochaber to win the league ensuring  that we did not end up trophy-less for the season.  Strathglass were defeated at Inverarnie and a fortnight later, at the outside shinty field of the Bught Park Inverness, the home team were  overwhelmed in a thrilling match after leading two nil at one point. . In the final match of the season against Lochaber at Speanbridge, Boleskine ran out winners by seven goals to two to secure the Championship.

One feature of the season was our enforced break from end of November till the start of March,  this  total vindicates the proposed trial period of summer shinty commencing March 04 .
